Proposed amendments to Murray Street Mall, Murray Street Road and Forrest Place Basement Reserves

In accordance with Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997 and Regulation 9 of the Land Administration Regulations 1998;

and

In accordance with Section 51 and 62 of the Land Administration Act 1997 and Regulation 11 of the Land Administration Regulations 1998, 

The Council seeks public comment on the following proposed road closure and amendments to Reserves to facilitate various tenure amendments by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage consisting of:

1. Amendment of the Murray St Mall Reserve, to be deeper by 5 metres and will exclude a below ground portion described as Lot 402 on DP 426713.
2. Closure of a portion of the Murray St Road Reserve, above and below the Murray St Mall Reserve, to facilitate the creation of the above Lot 402 on DP 426713.
3. Amendment of the Forrest Place Basement Reserve, to be deeper by 5 metres.

The amendments to the Reserves are required to facilitate the construction of the proposed tunnel beneath Murray Street and connecting the Forrest Place loading dock basement to service the proposed Carillon redevelopment.
