Event partnerships

The City of Perth is seeking expressions of interest from cultural performers and community cultural groups interested in performing at City of Perth events throughout the 2026/27 Summer Events Season.

We are committed to presenting a diverse program that reflects the many cultures of our community and encourage applications from performers representing all cultural backgrounds. Opportunities include:

• Perth Multicultural Festival (on the floating stage in Elizabeth Quay);
• Australia Day, (performing on the Auspire Stage);
• other City of Perth events and activations held throughout the summer season.

What we are looking for

We welcome expressions of interest from performers representing diverse cultures through music, dance and other traditional or contemporary cultural performances. Successful applicants should:

• Deliver engaging, authentic and audience-focused cultural performances ranging from approximately 5 - 10 minutes.
• Have experience performing at festivals, community events or other public events.
• Be able to work with event production crews, including audio, lighting and staging technicians.
• Hold current Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million)
• Present performances that are suitable for family-friendly, public events.

• Perform on professionally produced stages at some of Perth's most unique and iconic public stages.
• Receive a performance fee appropriate to the size of the group and performance duration.

Submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee engagement for a City of Perth event. The City will assess submissions based on programming requirements, suitability, diversity and event needs. Performers may also be considered for additional opportunities that arise throughout the 2026/27 Summer Events
