Event partnerships
At the City of Perth, we believe in the spirit of collaborative partnerships and our capital city events serve as an effective platform to connect brands with mass audiences at a grass roots level. Last year over 700,000 people attended our direct delivered events!
We partner with a range of organisations, with their support being instrumental in ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of our events, guaranteeing continual delivery of inclusive and vibrant cultural experiences.
The City is renowned for delivering significant outcomes for its event partners. We work collaboratively to clearly identify objectives and develop a plan that caters to this. Outcomes may include:
- Generating sales
- Increasing brand awareness
- Supporting recruitment efforts
- Supporting staff reward and recognition initiatives
- Community education and/or awareness
- Alignment with and support of community enriching activities
Voted by Forbes as one of the top 10 places to visit in the world in 2023, we look to build on this momentum in 2024/25 by delivering an even bigger and better program.

Expression of Interest: Elizabeth Quay - Floating Stage Hire
In recent years, the City has been committed to enhancing its public event offerings, with one of its notable successes being the City of Light Shows and Summer Nights event at Elizabeth Quay. For the past three event seasons the City-led Elizabeth Quay Shows have developed into high quality entertainment offerings, which the inclusion of the floating stage, a pontoon placed in the middle of the water inlet, the biggest hit amongst the community.
Building on this momentum, the City is again set to deliver floating stage shows within the Elizabeth Quay water inlet over the summer period between November 2025 to March 2026.

By offering this unique floating stage platform to both established and emerging organisations, the City aims to continue building a strong sense of community and support local initiatives, while also contributing to the broader cultural identity of the area. This initiative not only enhances public space utilisation but also supports the City’s ongoing efforts to provide accessible, high-quality entertainment options for residents and visitors alike.
