The 2025 Election

The next Local Government election will be held on 18 October 2025.

Four Councillor positions are set to become vacant with the new terms to expire on 20 October 2029.

The vacant Lord Mayor position will also be filled at this election with the term to expire on 16 October 2027.

If you have not received your voting package, please email [email protected] to find out how to get a replacement package.

If you have not posted your ballot paper package before Monday 13 October, please hand deliver your completed package to Council House during business hours Monday - Friday, or between 8am and 6pm on Saturday 18 October 2025 to ensure it is received on time.

Please note that due to construction works, the entrance to Council House is via the South Entrance (Swan River side) - up the staircase and via a pedestrian path.
