Computers
It is free to use all Library computers. Users must agree to our Computer User Agreement when logging in.
Express Computers
The Library has 8 express computers on the Ground Floor. Express computer sessions last for up to 20 minutes.
Computers on Level 2
The Library has 8 public access computers on Level 2. Computer sessions last 60 minutes and can be extended to 90 minutes.
City of Perth Library Members
Members may have up to 90 minutes of Library computer use per day. Please ensure you bring your Library card with you.
Non-members
Non-members may request a guest pass to use the public computers for up to 40 minutes per day.
City of Perth Library WiFi
Perth WiFi provides free wireless internet access. Users have a download limit of 2GB in a day (24 hours from midnight). Once this limit is reached users will need to wait until after midnight when limits are reset before reconnecting to the service.
Select Perth WiFi to connect your laptop or device. Users are required to agree to the Wireless Conditions of Use when using this service.

To connect to the Perth WiFi network
- Make sure you are in the WiFi coverage area
- On your device, select Perth WiFi as the desired WiFi network. This option should be available under your device’s WiFi Settings menu
- If your web browser does not automatically open, open your web browser and City of Perth landing page will appear
- Click “GET ONLINE NOW”
- Click to confirm you agree to the terms of use for the service
- Click “Continue”
- Start browsing the internet

Printing from your laptop
Visit the printing website. Follow the steps explained on the website, they will appear like this:
Once you have completed these steps, click the button:
You will see a summary of your print job.
Collect and pay for your printing
Visit a print station at the Library to pay for and collect your printing.
Print stations are located on Levels 1 and 2. Follow the instructions on how to pay for and collect your printing.
Printing from your device
Option 1: Download and use the PrinterOn app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Follow the directions in the app to print.
Option 2: Forward email or item as an attachment to one of the following email addresses:

Note: The paper supplied by the Library must be used to prevent paper jams.
You will be sent a release code for the email message and each attachment.
Collect and pay for your printing
Use the release codes to retrieve your documents at a Library print station.
Print stations are located on Levels 1 and 2.
Follow the instructions on how to pay for and collect your printing.
*Email forwarding is ideal for email portals like Hotmail or Gmail.
Photocopying
A3, A4, colour and black & white copying is available at the print stations on Levels 1 and 2.
Scanning to email
Documents can be scanned to an email account. There is no charge for this service.
