Proposed amendments to Mounts Bay Road Reserve
In accordance with Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997 and Regulation 9 of the Land Administration Regulations 1998;
and
In accordance with Section 51 and 62 of the Land Administration Act 1997 and Regulation 11 of the Land Administration Regulations 1998,
The City of Perth seeks public comment on the following proposed road closure and amendments to Reserves to facilitate various tenure amendments by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage consisting of:
- Permanent road closure of a portion of Mounts Bay Road Reserve.
- Amendment of Mounts Bay Road Reserve to create a new Lot and Crown Reserve for the purpose of ‘Public Access’.
The above items will facilitate various tenure amendments by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) consisting of:
- Amendment of the Mounts Bay Road Reserve airspace, to accommodate the creation of a new isometric Crown Reserve to accommodate the existing Mounts Bay Road Pedestrian Bridge.
- A Management Order for the new Reserve to be vested with the City of Perth.
