Proudly presented by Pride WA, this year’s festival embraces the theme “We Are Here”, a powerful celebration of visibility, resilience, and pride within Western Australia’s LGBTQIA+ community. With more than 100 events lighting up the City, Perth will once again shine as a hub of culture, creativity, and connection.

The City of Perth is proud to host all major PrideFEST events, once again serving as the beating heart of the celebrations. Key venues such as Supreme Court Gardens, Russell Square, and other iconic City spaces will host an exciting program of performances, workshops, parties, and cultural showcases.

Festival highlights include the iconic Pride Parade on Saturday 29 November, where thousands will take to the streets of Northbridge in a dazzling display of unity and pride, and Fairday, returning to Supreme Court Gardens on Sunday 23 November for a full day of community celebration.

City of Perth Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds said the City’s partnership with Pride WA, spanning more than 27 years, continues to strengthen and evolve.

“PrideFEST is one of Perth’s most beloved celebrations, and I encourage everyone to come along, celebrate diversity, and share in the love,” Mr Reynolds said.

“It’s wonderful to see so many exciting events returning to Northbridge, the home of Western Australia’s LGBTQIA+ community. We’re especially thrilled about the new Pride Club Day on Saturday 22 November, which will transform Supreme Court Gardens into a vibrant hub for sports clubs, creative collectives, and social groups.”

Adding to the excitement, Perth has officially won its bid to host the Gay Games 2030 – the world’s largest LGBTQIA+ sporting and cultural event. The 10-day international celebration will unite thousands of participants and spectators from around the globe, marking a major milestone in the City’s LGBTQIA+ Plan (2025 – 2029), developed with guidance from the City’s LGBTQIA+ Advisory Group.

Pride WA CEO Dr Laurie Butterly said, “Our theme this year is 'We Are Here'. It asserts visibility and resilience of our LGBTQIA+ community. It’s inspired by historic activism, it emphasises that we have always existed and will continue to take up space – unapologetically.

“Adding to this year’s celebration is: We Are Here for Gay Games 2030! This year’s Pridefest will also be a celebration of Perth’s historic winning bid for Gay Games.”

To further celebrate PrideFEST 2025, the City of Perth Library will host a special panel discussion on Wednesday 26 November, reflecting on 35 years of Pride Parades in Western Australia. This free event will feature voices from those who were there at the beginning – honouring the past, celebrating progress, and deepening our connection to the roots of Pride.
