Access and inclusion

Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP)

The City of Perth’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2021-2025, identifies the outcomes the City of Perth will achieve to improve access and inclusion for people of all abilities. It outlines key actions that will be implemented to reduce and eliminate barriers within our city and to advocate for equity of access for all in our society.

The Disability Access and Inclusion Plan complies with Commonwealth and State legislative requirements to ensure that access for all is at the forefront of all planning and partnership actions and developments within the City’s boundaries. Extensive consultation was undertaken with internal and external stakeholders to develop this plan. Their feedback, views and aspirations have been incorporated and are reflected throughout. The DAIP was finalised and formally endorsed by Council on 27 July 2021.

You can view and download the City of Perth Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2021-2025.

Copies of the DAIP are available to the community upon request and in alternative formats if required, including hard copy in standard and large print, electronic format, braille and audio format.
