The culinary festival, developed by the City of Perth, will dish up a program of exclusive, bespoke dining experiences and special offers showcasing the City’s finest foodie favourites.

Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said Plateful Perth is firing up winter with plenty of opportunities to explore the City’s hospitality hot spots.

“What better way to spend winter in the City than sharing a delicious meal with your favourite people. There’s something for every palette and budget, whether it’s an affordable city lunch or a decadent five-course degustation, you find something in the City this August,” Mr Zempilas.

“After the success of last year’s festival, its clear locals love supporting homegrown hospitality businesses, and in this climate, everyone is looking for a great deal to spend a night out in the City.

“With five already sold out and others selling fast, it’s proof this year’s program is not to be missed. Make sure to book your tickets now to avoid disappointment.”

The festival kicks off with Shrooms & Sours at the Rechabite. The totally vegan menu will showcase all things mushrooms and a sour beer with each course.

Perhaps you’re after more of a dancefloor? Then look no further than the Bottomless Pizza Party – join the Spring on Queen and The Re Store for Roman-style pizzas, dynamic wines and a DJ set that will have everyone up dancing.

Or if you’re into feeling cozy, Lot Twenty are hosting a Mulled Wine Masterclass Dinner across the festival and Sauma are hosting curry nights every Thursday throughout August.

Plateful Perth runs throughout August to view the full program of events, experiences and offers, head to platefulperth.com.au.

And to make it easier to join in the fun - parking is free after 6pm at all City of Perth on-street parking and at CPP carparks.
