City of Perth Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds said Bike Month was the perfect time to build a new habit for anyone thinking about a new way to commute, get fit or just have fun.
“The City has fantastic bike and dual use paths that showcase our stunning Swan River backdrop and green spaces,” he said.
“A scenic commute to the City on your bike can often be faster than driving or catching public transport, and of course it has added health and environmental benefits.
“As part of our Capital City Plan, we are committed to making Perth an increasingly bike friendly city, with continued investment in infrastructure to let you enjoy your ride, whether it’s for work or leisure.”
You can take your bike on trains during off peak times, weekends and public holidays and anytime on Transperth ferries.
