This year, the City is focusing on projects that enhance public realm, create new experiences and boost the overall vibrancy of the City. The grants aim to empower businesses to play a pivotal role in revitalising the environment and increasing foot traffic.

A key change for 2025 is the removal of a fixed application deadline. Instead, the City will accept applications year-round until the budget is exhausted.

The minimum funding you can apply for is $5,000, and the maximum is $20,000. Grant are reimbursed once the project is completed and all invoices have been paid.

No Eye Deer Coffee was among the 12 successful City-based businesses to secure funding in the last round of grants approved by Council. With the funds, the business was able to revitalise their coffee corner, bringing fresh energy into West Perth.

Owner Jamie Don said, “Applying for the City of Perth Business Improvement Grant was a smooth process, thanks to the support of the City’s Business Development Team.

“The grant allowed us to activate an underutilised space within the building, which has in turn attracted more foot traffic to the City West area.

“I would recommend applying to other businesses in the City, It really is worth it.”
