Hardy Road Pocket Park
This micro-pocket park provides a fine grain layer of our urban ecology. Just a lovely seating node under some leaning trees and improved biodiverse planting, featuring insect hotels, habitat logs and boulders which aligns with a nominated biodiversity corridor.
This little seating node provides a quite place to enjoy a coffee or bite from the nearby shops. Under the watchful eyes of two new resident Western Spinebills perched on local paperbark foliage (proposed mural by Jack Brommell).
“Never underestimate the power of a bench under a tree on a busy street corner.” – Jan Gehl
