Since its completion in 1870, Perth Town Hall has evolved to support a range of State and Local Government functions, as well as commercial uses.

Today, the Town Hall is managed by the City of Perth and serves as a venue for civic ceremonies, commercial events and private functions.

The Perth Town Hall Undercroft and Foyer Redevelopment project will transform the building’s undercroft into a more flexible and activated space, supporting increased use for events, programming and visitor experiences.

The redevelopment and activation of the undercroft will deliver:

  • Greater flexibility to use the undercroft and Town Hall concurrently for single or complementary events.
  • An enhanced visitor experience through improved interpretation, wayfinding, accessibility and a stronger identity for the Town Hall precinct.
