
Electric Vehicle charging stations
The City is committed to working towards net zero emissions as an organisation. This includes supporting the community’s contributions to overall emissions reductions by providing convenient City of Perth Parking Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations for our residents and visitors to use.
The City has installed EV chargers at the following City of Perth Parking car parks and on-street parking:
- J.H Abrahams Reserve Car Park, Hackett Drive, Crawley;
- Queens Garden Car Park, 42-62 Nelson Crescent, East Perth;
- Plain Street Car Park, 2 Plain Street, East Perth;
- Victoria Gardens Car Park, 10 Royal Street, East Perth;
- On-street parking, Russell Square, Parker Street, Northbridge;
- On-street Parking, 158 Royal Street, East Perth; and
- On-street Parking opposite 132 Terrace Road.
The EV chargers are currently hooded and inactive, awaiting activation following confirmation of fees/rates.
Next steps
The fees will be set by Council at the February Ordinary Council Meeting on 25 February 2025.
Once the fees are established, the City will remove the covering wrap and activate the charging stations for use at the end of March. The availability of the charging stations will be publicly listed on the City of Perth Parking website and Visit Perth here: Perth Parking | Visit Perth
