Other City sponsorship opportunities are open all year, or until funds are exhausted.

The City is offering a suite of grants and sponsorship opportunities until June 2023.

These include grants for:
Activating spaces;
Adapting and reusing heritage spaces;
Venue support and;
Community insurance.

Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said the grants were a wonderful opportunity for businesses, retailers, developers and individuals to exhibit creativity in revitalising the City.

“I would encourage anyone who has an idea they believe will invigorate or enhance the City to apply for one of our many grants,” Lord Mayor Zempilas said.

Already this year, the Perth City Council has approved close to $500,000 in grants for major events including the Brookfield Winter Lights, the Make Smoking History Targa West Rally and the ANZAC Day city-based commemorations.

In February, the City announced a series of small business Bounce Back grants, to help city businesses to emerge from the downturn created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligible businesses can apply for up to $5000 to help with ways to attract customers and sustain trade. All the projects in this package must be finished by the end of 2022.

The City’s economic development grants support eligible businesses and industry sectors which promote Perth for commerce and investment and position the City as economically sustainable.

“All of the grants offer the opportunity for successful applicants to bring vibrancy back to the City and attract visitors from around the State, the country and the world,” Lord Mayor Zempilas said.

More information on all available grants and sponsorship opportunities, as well as eligibility and the application process can be found on the City’s website.
