The iconic space includes: 

·        a grassed outdoor space (the Piazza) 

·        a multi-purpose, two-storey community building with office, meeting, storage, display and commercial kitchen spaces 

·        versatile stage options 

·        an 8-meter-wide outdoor LED screen

The City is seeking applications for collaborations or single organisations who are keen to activate the spaces with innovative ideas and an interesting programs of events that will attract visitors as well as engage residents, the creative community and local businesses.  

The City of Perth is looking for a unique program of events providing a cultural and economic point of difference to other public spaces across the City.  

The successful organisation/s will work with the City of Perth and the screen curator, currently based in the community building. 

 City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said the Piazza was the entertainment hub of Northbridge and offered a prime location with steady foot traffic from both locals and visitors alike.  

“The Piazza is the heart and soul of Northbridge and we want to see a great program of activities happening there throughout the year,” he said.

“This is wonderful opportunity for local businesses, cultural groups and organisations to make their mark in one of the City’s most exciting and vibrant neighborhoods”.
