Today 31 January 2021 Premier Mark McGowan confirmed that there is an active COVID-19 case detected in a hotel quarantine worker in Perth.
Based on health advice, effective from 6pm tonight Sunday 31 January 2021 until 6pm Friday 5 February, the Perth metropolitan area and the Peel and South West regions will enter a 5-day lockdown.
The City of Perth Pandemic Response Team has been activated and is working to ensure all necessary measures are put in place across the city.
Council House will be closed as of 6pm tonight (Sunday 31 January 2021). Essential services will continue through the lockdown.
