More than $2 million has been committed by the City of Perth to arts activity and creative cultural practice to grow the City’s vibrant events calendar.

On Tuesday night, the Council voted to support 13 arts and culture projects to the tune of $1.095 million, including some over a three-year period.

Crowd favourite Fringe World will receive $1.2 million from the City of Perth over the next three years.

Once visitors are here, they support our local businesses by having a meal at a restaurant or café, grabbing a drink at one of our great range of bars and pubs or doing some shopping in one of our unique retail outlets ,” he said.
