In line with WA Government advice, a number of City facilities will be impacted by the Covid-19 lockdown. The City will continue to plan and make decisions based upon advice from the WA State Government.

The following locations/facilities are closed till further notice:
- City of Perth Library
- Playgrounds
- Jacobs Ladder
- Council House
- Citiplace Community Centre
- Town Hall
OPEN
- City of Perth Customer Service is available online www.cityofperth.wa.gov.au and on the phone (08) 9461 3333.
- The City’s Childcare Centre is open for essential worker’s children only
- The City’s waste services will continue as normal
- Safe City Officers and City Rangers will continue as normal
- The City of Perth will be providing traffic management around COVID Clinics if required.
Carparks
All CPP carparks will remain open and operate as per usual hours. Standard fees and rates will apply.
The City will continue to monitor red zones for cars parked dangerously in areas such as clearways, on footpaths or in an ACROD bay without a valid permit to ensure community safety.
Safety and Cleaning
Safe City Rangers are continuing to patrol the city, on foot and via our Safe City vehicles.
The Safe City team will be providing assistance for people experiencing homelessness, while our outreach service RooForce are also continuing to operate in Wellington Square and Victoria Gardens. Public amenities will remain open for access to water and toilets.
Enhanced cleaning is occurring throughout City malls, public amenities and highly-frequented areas. City of Perth waste operations are continuing as normal.

Citiplace Childcare Centre
Citiplace Child Care Centre will remain open for essential workers.
Owned and maintained by the City of Perth, staff caring for the children are all employees of the City.

City of Perth Vulnerable People Approach
The health, wellbeing and safety of our people is a priority and the City of Perth is stepping up to help our most vulnerable community members this week.
Accredited food services operating in the City of Perth have transitioned to roving delivery service until 12.01am Saturday 4 July 2021.
We’re working with service providers and the homelessness sector to address the impacts of COVID-19 on people sleeping rough in our City.
The City’s Safe Night Shelter for Women will remain open and social distancing measures will be implemented by Ruah Community Services.
The RooForce outreach team and Safe City Rangers are continuing to patrol the city to provide assistance to people experiencing homelessness.
