The City of Light will once again transform into a winter wonderland, with the City of Perth proudly supporting the internationally renowned Lightscape at Kings Park for a second year running.
Following a sell-out inaugural season in 2023, Lightscape will once again turn Perth’s iconic Kings Park into a world-class spectacle combining art, light and sound, for 40 nights from 7 June 2024.
City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said Lightscape had become a headline attraction on the City’s winter events calendar.
“More than 180,000 people experienced the magic of this incredible event in its inaugural year, and this coming year will offer a totally different but equally fantastic experience, with new installations,” Mr Zempilas said.
“The seven-week festival will again celebrate Western Australia’s exceptional local flora, however this year the theme is the mysteries of roots and will focus on the secrets beneath the surface.
“With input from local and international artists, the people of Perth will experience an immersive, entertaining experience with a uniquely local twist. Don’t miss it.”
Tickets for Lightscape 2024 go on sale from 10am Friday 22 December 2023 via this link.
Lightscape is brought to life through a partnership between Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and Sony, powered by City of Perth and supported by Roy Hill.
