Popular with bridal parties looking for the perfect photo, visitors and residents on a wander, and workers wanting a break from the hustle and bustle, the John Oldham Park bridge is back.
It was named after John Oldham, one of the country’s leading landscape architects, responsible for landscaping dozens of Perth landmarks, including the Narrows Interchange and Parliament House.
The new bridge is a replica of the old bridge. With the bridge deck made from recycled timber recovered from Trafalgar Bridge deck replacement in Claisebrook.
Come and take a look, and maybe even a photo, next time you’re in the City.
