Perth Town Hall is a beautifully restored 154-year-old heritage venue that’s the perfect choice for an extraordinary wedding ceremony or wedding reception.

With its high ceilings, timeless architectural details, polished jarrah floors, and stunning stained-glass windows, this wedding venue sets creates a truly versatile environment for your sophisticated and unforgettable Perth wedding.

The Main Hall’s traditional functionality works seamlessly for any kind of celebration that you’re hosting, from an intimate wedding to a grand affair. It can be tailed for generous banquets, theatre-style events, cocktail functions, festivals or even exhibitions. 

A major restoration has equipped the Perth Town Hall with a lighted main stage, modern prep kitchen, new sound and projection systems and climate control. With the freedom to select your own catering and other services, you can create a one-of-a-kind event guests will remember. 

When you hire this venue, you’ll have access to the entire first floor, featuring the main stage, a modern prep kitchen, bathrooms, green room facilities, and the adjoining Supper Room. 

A major restoration has equipped the Perth Town Hall with stage lighting, new sound and projection systems and climate control, so all your needs are met in one place.

Perfect for corporate gatherings, workshops, large meetings or presentations, these packages are available Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.

Workshop event package
Includes 4 hours of hire, up to 15 round tables, chairs, projector use, microphones, AV staff and hot water urn.
Suitable up to 150 attendees. (Max 240*)

Includes 3 hours of hire, lectern, chairs in rows, projector use, microphones, AV staff and hot water urn.

Rules

  • No open flames are permitted for use within the Perth Town Hall.
  • Security is required on all events after 6pm or involving alcohol.
  • Minimum hire time of 3 hours per booking.
  • A bond deposit of up to $1000 will be charged to secure your booking.
  • All prices include GST and are subject to change.
  • The Not-for-Profit (NFP) discount is calculated at 25% off the hourly hire rate.

    Perth Town Hall event occupancy limits are as follows:

    • Banquet style: Up to 240 (200 with dance floor)
    • Theatre style: Up to 340 
    • Cocktail style: Up to 400

    Using the open-air Undercroft, larger numbers may be accommodated for indoor-outdoor events with additional infrastructure.

  • Is the Perth Town Hall suitable for weddings?
    Yes! We can host both wedding ceremonies and receptions.

    Perth Town Hall is suitable for up to 240 guests for sit-down wedding receptions, or up to 400 cocktail style. For wedding ceremonies, the Main Hall can accommodate up to 340 while the Lower Foyer accommodates 60 seated and an additional 40 standing.
