Built in the style of European Town Halls of the Victorian era, the Perth Town Hall Undercroft provides a unique and versatile space for hire whether you’re hosting a memorable wedding reception, market, exhibition, or indoor-outdoor activation.
Perth Town Hall’s heritage architecture represents Australia’s only Victorian-Gothic town hall structure, creating a standout backdrop character unlike any other.
The Undercroft space includes approximately 180 square metres of floor area within the impressive glass-encased Lower Foyer, plus an additional 500 square metres of covered outdoor space, offering exceptional visibility to the public and anyone passing by.
Within this exquisitely and carefully restored heritage Perth city venue, opportunities abound for hosting a wide variety of unforgettable events or special occasions, including wedding receptions, art exhibitions, product displays and markets, wine and food tastings and many more.

Rules
- No open flames are permitted for use within the Perth Town Hall.
- Security is required on all events after 6pm or involving alcohol.
- Minimum hire time of 3 hours per booking.
- A bond deposit of up to $1000 will be charged to secure your booking.
- All prices include GST and are subject to change.
- The Not-for-Profit (NFP) discount is calculated at 25% off the hourly hire rate.

Perth Town Hall event occupancy limits are as follows:
- Banquet style: Up to 240 (200 with dance floor)
- Theatre style: Up to 340
- Cocktail style: Up to 400
Using the open-air Undercroft, larger numbers may be accommodated for indoor-outdoor events with additional infrastructure.

Perth Town Hall is suitable for up to 240 guests for sit-down wedding receptions, or up to 400 cocktail style. For wedding ceremonies, the Main Hall can accommodate up to 340 while the Lower Foyer accommodates 60 seated and an additional 40 standing.
