Water Corporation is working to replace water pipes on Mount Street between Cliff Street in West Perth and the Mitchell Freeway. Work will take place between July and December 2018, 7.00 am to 7.00 pm on weekdays and some Saturdays, as required.

Construction will be carried out in the eastbound lane of Mount Street, which will result in a temporary loss of on-street parking. Local traffic will be diverted via the westbound lane, which will become a dual carriageway.

Jacobs Ladder will remain unaffected. Visitors to the area are asked to take care and to be aware there will be an increase in activity in the area including heavy vehicles and equipment. The Mount Street Breakfast Bar will remain open for business seven days a week from 7.00 am.
