Pursuant to Local Government Act 1995 and Local Government (Elections) Regulation 1997 the Returning Officer has determined to adjourn the count for the 2021 City of Perth election until 10am Sunday 17 October 2021 at Council House, Level 11 Reception Room.
The reason for the adjournment is to allow for a verification of the result and the determination of the outcome of the election. This was based on a difference of 7 votes between the 4th and 5th placed candidates for the 4th vacancy.
Candidates may appoint fresh scrutineers prior to 10am tomorrow.
