City of Perth virtual Council Meetings
City of Perth Commissioners have determined that all meetings of Council will be conducted via videoconference for the foreseeable future to adhere to the Western Australian State Government’s declaration of a State of Emergency related to COVID-19.
City of Perth Chair Commissioner Andrew Hammond, Deputy Chair Commissioner Gaye McMath and Commissioner Len Kosova will be in attendance. City of Perth CEO Murray Jorgensen, the City’s four General Alliance Managers Jayson Miragliotta, Anne Banks McAllister, Bill Parker and Chris Kopec, Project Director Corporate Recovery Karin Strachan and Project Director Strategic Finance Michael Kent will attend virtually.
Interested attendees are welcome to watch the Council Meeting via the City of Perth website. The stream will start playing when the next meeting starts at 5pm Tuesday 31 March.
Question time for the public will still occur. Questions must be emailed to governance@cityofperth.wa.gov.au by 3pm on the day of the meeting. The CEO will read the questions aloud at the meeting.
Deputations will also still take place. Requests to make a deputation must be emailed to governance@cityofperth.wa.gov.au by midday on the day of the meeting. The CEO will read the deputations aloud at the meeting.
The Council Chambers will not be open to the public until further notice.
