Elizabeth Quay Footbridge Closure:

The Elizabeth Quay Footbridge will be closed from 4pm to 9pm each night. Pedestrian detours will be provided via the eastern and western promenades around the inlet.

Water Closures and Reduced Mooring Availability:

A floating stage will be installed within the Elizabeth Quay Inlet by midday on Monday, 10 November 2025, and will remain in place until Wednesday, 4 March 2026. During this period, the three northern floating jetty docks along the eastern promenade will be closed to the public.

Additionally, The Elizabeth Quay Inlet will be closed to recreational vessels between 4pm and 9:30pm on event nights. Boat moorings will not be available for use during these times.

The nearby Barrack Street Jetty will remain available for loading and unloading, passenger pick-up and drop-off, and casual berthing, with use limited to 15 minutes or less at a time.

Transperth ferry services and other commercial services will continue to operate as normal.

Noise Considerations:

Minor noise may occur during the installation of the floating stage and other bump-in activities, such as marquee construction and speaker placement, prior to event times. This is expected to be minimal, with little to no disruption anticipated.

Audio towers will be positioned throughout the Elizabeth Quay precinct. Amplified sound will occur intermittently for sound checks on Friday, 14 November, between 10am and 5pm, and continuously from 5pm to 9pm for rehearsals on the same day and for the two show nights on Saturday, 15 November and Sunday, 16 November.

During bump-out (9pm to 11pm, Sunday 16 November, and 8am to 5pm, Monday 17 November), minor noise and disruption may also occur.

All necessary safety measures will be in place to minimise impacts on surrounding businesses. Noise monitoring will be conducted during rehearsals and show times to ensure compliance with the Noise Management Plan.

Business Opportunities:

The City encourages business owners to plan for the anticipated increase in patronage during the event period. Hotels and accommodation providers may wish to promote the event to their guests, while food and beverage operators could consider special dining experiences or themed takeaway options. All businesses are encouraged to explore ways to benefit from the increased foot traffic, including the possibility of extended trading hours where permitted under relevant legislation.
