The Event

The City of Perth will host The City at New Year’s Eve event on Thursday 31 December 2020, from 6pm to 12am (midnight).

In response to COVID-19, the City is shifting the event focus from stage entertainment to expanding the program of street level performances, entertainment and arts installations. These changes aim to encourage the dispersal of large crowds whilst bolstering the economic impact to local businesses, and promote a safe, festive and vibrant atmosphere. The event will coincide with the City’s iconic Christmas Lights Trail.
