Unfortunately the City of Perth has not received the delivery of lunch bags from our supplier therefore, our planned redemption activity will not proceed.  The City of Perth apologies to all those affected.

The promotion, which runs from 2 January to 26 January, will see a new design from local Nyoongar artists Kiya Watt, Gungurra, J.D Penangke and ByDanika released every week. Redemptions are valid for purchases made from Boxing Day.

Nyoongar artist Danika Eades modified her NAIDOC 2020 design for her lunchbox art piece.

“Each layer with its design represents the intricate ways ancestors have imprinted and spiritually traced our lands for the past 60,000 years,” she said.

“Along with the colours of the Earth, it creates a sense of warmth and belonging.  The circle, with each cluster, represents a generation.”

City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said the redemption initiative would provide additional support to businesses in Perth’s retail core.

“The City will continue to work with local businesses and encourage people to explore the expansive shopping, dining and entertainment experiences that the city has to offer,” he said.

“We hope people looking for post-Christmas bargains will make the most of the City’s free three-hour parking initiative on public holidays and weekends too.”

The lunch bags will be available for collection with proof of purchase on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 7pm and Sundays from 11am to 2pm.

Redemption outlets are located at Raine Square near the Palace Cinema escalators, Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square inside Market Hall. Terms and conditions apply and are available at visitperth.com.
