Explore the City of Perth Library's vast collection of digital books, comics, graphic novels and audiobooks via our providers listed below. Different providers offer different titles, so browse them all for the full selection. If you're looking for a specific title or author, search the Library catalogue to see all of the formats available in our collection.

Hoopla

Hoopla offers thousands of digital titles in a variety of formats, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines and more. Titles can be streamed or downloaded and there is no wait time or holds. City of Perth Library members can borrow six Instant titles per month. Flex titles are currently not available. 

To access, visit the Hoopla website, click the Get Started button at the top of the page, and follow the instructions to set up an account. You will need to enter an email address and password. Choose City of Perth Library and enter your City of Perth Library card number and PIN. 

Turn on Kids Mode in Hoopla to enable safe browsing for children up to 12 years old. Kids Mode limits the titles displayed to titles rated G or PG only. Follow these instructions to turn on Kids Mode.

Kanopy Kids

Kanopy Kids offers a diverse range of educational and entertaining content suitable for children aged 2 to 8 years. Kanopy Kids includes family friendly movies, TV series and animation. To access Kanopy Kids, log in to your Kanopy account, then click 'Kids' in the top-right corner of your homepage. In the Kanopy mobile app, tap 'More' at the bottom of the screen, then 'Go to Kanopy Kids'. In the Kanopy Kids section, you'll only see content that's suitable for children, so children can browse freely. To set parental controls, follow the instructions on the screen once you have logged in.

Introduce your children to a new language with KidSpeak via Transparent Language Online. Sign up to Transparent Language Online for free with your City of Perth Library card and select the languages displaying the KidSpeak icon.

LOTE4Kids allows children to enjoy the magic of books in world languages from the comfort of their home. Each book includes an English translation to help develop multilingual reading and listening skills.
