  • Essential requirements for Twilight Hawkers Market traders

    All stallholders must comply with City of Perth Environmental Health Requirements, OS&H Requirements and Events and Beyond terms and conditions (to be provided on acceptance of application).

    All stallholders must provide all their own equipment including marquee, benches/tables, flooring, cooking equipment, signage, tested and tagged power cords, on-site handwashing and utensil washing facilities – including hot and cold running water with appropriate sink/waste facilities.

    Suitable rubber floor mats are essential in order to trade and must completely cover the entire stall and cooking area to protect the paving in Forrest Place – cleaning fees will be passed on to the vendor for any visible spillage or staining. All food prep table/bench surfaces must be non-porous and wipeable ie. plastic or stainless steel. No cloth or hessian accepted.

    All electrical and gas equipment must be tested and tagged to meet current safety standards. All equipment is subject to regular inspection by the City of Perth Health Officers and the Energy Departments of WA as well as weekly inspection by Events and Beyond staff.

    All traffic management requirements must be complied with at all times and all traffic management instruction and direction strictly followed.

    Non-compliance of any of the above conditions will result in non-trading and/or issue of infringement.
