There’s parking right on your doorstep giving your guests easy access and enabling a convenient set-up for your occasion. On-site you’ll also find a playground, public barbecues, and even options for bike and canoe hire.

Point Fraser is in a scenic corner of the city, with the tranquillity of the Swan River hugging the shoreline and framing a spectacular natural location. When it comes to outdoor weddings, Point Fraser offers two areas available for hire:

• The eastern half of the park, with its inviting grassy terraces.
• The western half of the park, featuring picturesque boardwalks.

• The unique riverside flora of Point Fraser underpins any Perth garden wedding or celebration within this heart of nature alongside the Swan. Hire either of the two distinctive regions of the reserve, with each perfectly suited to your own wedding style and plans.
• Set up a memorable, intimate ceremony where elegant boardwalks wind through the natural vegetation, creating one-of-a-kind framing for all happy couples, families and friends.
• Your pets are also welcome to enter the reserve and share in your special occasion, but ensure they are kept on a leash at all times. You’ll find shaded areas for pets, and water fountains to fill a bowl for thirsty fur-kids.
• You can provide your own music and your own catering for celebrations. On-site restaurants can assist with alcohol supplies. Or consider hosting your reception in one of the many restaurants and hospitality venues right here.
• Free WiFi is available across the reserve, so you can share those “I do” moments live, as well as the endless, stunning pictures and videos to be captured against a variety of breathtaking backdrops provided by nature.
• There’s a children’s playground to keep young ones busy, and public barbecues are available for those seeking a more casual outdoor atmosphere.
• You’ll find a paid, accessible car park at Point Fraser, and public transport options are close by. If you need to unload and later collect outdoor furniture for a wedding, you can pre-book a nearby parking space.
• Point Fraser is wheelchair accessible, with the special paths and boardwalks in particular, being ideal for wheelchair users. Accessible public toilets are also provided.

Rules

• To protect the wildlife and ecosystems; strictly no confetti, rose petals (or similar) is to be brought into the gardens.
• There is no provision for electrical power usage in the park.
• A protection zone with a 4m radius around all trees and 2m from footpaths must be maintained.
• All furniture including marquees and umbrellas, must be approved by City of Perth before it can be used in the parks.
• No vehicle will be given access to the park.
• All prices include GST and are subject to change.
• No refunds will be given for inclement weather.
