A Sister City program enables citizens to become directly involved in international relations in a unique and meaningful way, bringing long-term benefits to the local community and its partners abroad.
World Energy Cities Partnership
The World Energy Cities Partnership (WCEP) is a collaboration between 13 "energy cities" around the world, of which the City of Perth is a member.
International Visitors
The City of Perth receives a variety of requests regarding visits from VIPs and Sister City members, Receptions, Local government study tours and Commercial tours.

Council of Capital City Lord Mayors
The City of Perth is represented by the Lord Mayor at the CCCLM, a national corporate entity for the effective co-ordination and representation of the special interests of the Capital Cities of the Australian States and Territories in their relations with other spheres of government.
Cultural Exchanges
The Artist Exchange Program between the cities of Perth and Taipei is a project that builds on a relationship that was formalised in 1999 when the cities of Perth and Taipei signed a Charter of Mutual Friendship.
